opening day: farmer’s market
Don’t miss opening day of Fayetteville’s nationally recognized Farmer’s Market! Tomorrow morning from 7am to 2pm a wide variety of local vendors will be on the Downtown Fayetteville Square selling their goods.
“Since 1974, the market has offered the finest in locally produced vegetables, fruits, flowers, plants, meats, baked goods, honey, eggs, jams, juried crafts, and fine art from the four-county area. Open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings around the historic Downtown Square and at the Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks, each market day is a feast for the eyes, ears and palate. Known as the “Crown Jewel of Fayetteville,” the Saturday market is alive with street performers, local musicians, community organizations, tourists and locals alike. More than 60 vendors set up around the beautiful, historic square gardens and represent the diversity of the area. There is plenty of parking nearby, as all city lots are free on Saturdays. All Market locations gladly accept SNAP/EBT, WIC and Senior vouchers.”
